Tuner. Mainly for the fact that i find them more visually appealing, and the possibilies of customization can be endless.

We share the same view.
It seems in some peoples eyes that jap tuners are just plastic cars from the bottom of cereal boxes.
Whereas it is true that some drivers give their car the appearance of being a top notch tuner, what's under the hood could be nothing more than stock.
But if the car has been genuinely upgraded not only in looks, but in performance, as well as a good driver to of course drive the car, Jap tuners would be my favoured team here

Well said mate. In terms of restoration and classic appreciation, muscle is the way to go, but japanese tuners have been given a bad name in the recent years in terms of reliability. Untrue.
